Tweedy Yak is a unique yarn with a nod to the original Irish Tweed woven cloth of the same name. It features natural brown yak blended with soft 20.5m Merino wool. The natural brown/grey hue is beautiful as is, but it can also be overdyed for some rich deep tona colors, or you can even use the natural hue for variegation. The earth-toned neps add some specks of complementary color. This is a yarn with both tactile and visual texture..... a fun new base for your dyeing pleasure!
