This is a spectacular woolen spun yarn from 100% Non-Superwash Highland wool from the Highlands of Peru. The sheep are a cross between a Corriedale (for strength and long fibre length) and Merino (for softness and a fine fibre) Darker fleece is spun in with off-white fleece which results in a lovely barber pole effect.
This is a natural, non-chemically treated, beautifully spun yarn! It has a soft, strong handle with bounce and loft which results in great stitch definition. Prfect for sweaters, accessories, color work, cables.... the possibilities are endless!
