This is 2 ply worsted weight yarn, and is exactly the same yarn as some of the more expensive commercial 100% silk hand-dyes. It is lustrous and soft and produces lovely soft muted colors when dyed. Dye it yourself or use as is-it'll be beautiful either way! This yarn would look wonderful either knitted or crocheted.
